OUR HISTORY

In 2012, the Peruvian Balcazar siblings started El Conocimiento se Comparte.

Twice a year, we travel to remote areas of Peru to share successful teaching methodologies – in writing, reading comprehension, and math – with fellow teachers from Peruvian public schools. Since public schools in Peru are very different than public schools in USA, we also have learned a lot from them.

El Conocimiento se Comparte was our father’s idea. He was a believer in the importance of improving the quality of education in Peru and of the need to give back to disadvantaged people in poor rural areas.

So far, we have trained around 2000 teachers, contributing to improve the quality of Peruvian education, especially in remote and rural areas. We believe that in this way, we are promoting a more equal, inclusive, productive and happier Peru.

OUR MISSION

To expand the range of teaching strategies in Peruvian public school teachers with dynamic methods,  which have being proven efficient in regular classroom, and for students with different learning modalities, including those who have difficulties in learning.
